Wappinger 9D Solar is a 12-acre solar farm which produces 2.6 megawatts of clean energy. The first of several Nexamp Community Solar projects to be completed in the Central Hudson Gas & Electric utility territory, this project enables local residents to save on their annual electric costs. Furthermore, the construction and long-term operation of the solar farm provide employment opportunities that enhance the local economy.
