Route 76 Boone Solar is a 2.7-megawatt community solar farm located in Poplar Grove, IL. The farm spans approximately 14 acres on already cleared land, and is one of many solar projects owned and operated by Nexamp in the state of Illinois. Through Nexamp's Community Solar program, over 350 local residents who get their electricity from ComEd will be able to subscribe to this project and save money on their annual electric costs while supporting the growth of clean energy in the region.
