Lake Wilson Renewables, a 1.1 MW Nexamp community solar farm tucked into the southwest corner of Minnesota, contains almost 2,000 domestically manufactured solar modules. Generating enough renewable energy to meet the needs of an estimated 150 area residents, it feeds power to the Xcel Energy grid. Consumers interested in saving money and supporting renewable energy can enroll in the program with no up-front fees and no equipment to install.
