Hartland Solar is a modest 1.2 megawatt community solar farm in the cental Maine town of Hartland. Situated on a roughly six-acre parcel of land, it features 2,064 U.S.-made solar modules and a tracker mounting system. It generates enough renewable energy to meet the needs of about 150 average area households, feeding the energy to the CMP grid and enabling subscribers to save on their annual electric expenses through the Nexamp community solar program.
