Blue Grama Solar is situated on a small parcel of unused farmland just outside Galesburg, Illinois. It generates 4.7 Megawatts of solar energy from just over 8,000 solar modules and is capable of offsetting the electricity needs of approximately 600 area households. Anyone who gets their electricity from Ameren can subscribe to this farm through the Nexamp Community Solar program and save 15% annually on electricity supply costs while supporting the expansion of local solar.
