Appleton Solar is a 7.7 MW community solar farm located about 10 miles north of the Albany International Airport in Rexford, NY. Featuring more than 14,000 solar panels mounted to a tracker system that follows the sun throughout the day, it can offset the needs of approximately 1,200 average households. National Grid customers can subscribe to this project and save on their annual electricity costs while supporting the expansion of renewable energy on the grid.
