The Jiminy Peak ski area thinks the same sky producing snow for its skiers, can produce power for its ski area.

The ski resort in Hancock, Massachusetts unveiled 12 acres of 7,500 solar panels intended to help power the chair lifts and lights and snow guns this winter.

Jiminy and a solar energy company called Nexamp says this will be the largest community solar project in the northeast.
